Fishing Report from Pathfinder & Yamaha Pro Staffer Capt. Geoff Page

The inshore fishing report for this week will have colder than average water temperatures with very low tides due to the north winds & cold fronts. Look for fish off the edges of the bars & in the sand troughs or pot holes. Soft plastic jerk baits such as the Saltwater Assassin Golden Graham Sea Shad rigged on quarter ounce chartreuse jig heads or live shrimp rigged on a quarter ounce jig head will produce good results. Slow your presentation down during the cooler months. You can expect to catch flounder, speckled trout & redfish with pompano, bluefish & jack mixed in! Also, dock fishing can be very productive this time of year. Live shrimp on a 1/0 or 2/0 hook with a split shot weight will produce black drum, flounder, redfish & sheephead. Remember to use as light of a leader as possible! The photo we have today is of Scott Bullard of Ocala with a very nice flounder he caught on a
Saltwater Assassin Golden Graham 4in Sea Shad!
