Pathfinder says this is “The Boat That Has Changed It All”. The all-new 2600 HPS comes standard with all the performance and fishing features that make it one of the most versatile bay boats ever built. At 26 feet in length, with a twin-stepped, high-performance hull and large bow & stern casting decks with walkaround gunwales, there is plenty of space to have 3-4 people angling at once!

Some impressive standard features include tournament grade livewells, under-gunwale rod storage and a fishbox large enough to fit the biggest King you can find. It is amazing how many ‘big-water’ features are included on such a boat that can still fish wonderfully in just 15 inches of water. Not impressed? Keep reading to learn of all the features you could possibly want!

Family Features

When it comes to fishing boats, we know it is not customary to bring the whole family along. However, bringing the buddies along or few select family members makes for a less lonely trip. For the fathers and grandfathers out there, bringing the children along can bring back some childhood memories.

The sheer size of this vessel allows for 3-4 people to fit comfortably. Regardless of how few or how many people on a vessel, Pathfinder likes to always provide these standard ‘family features’ to each boat: all white cushion color, boarding ladder, CC full forward access w/ Dutch doors, Frp removable cooler w/ cushion, and a raw water washdown system.

Safety, COmfort and Convenience

The ‘safety, comfort, and convenience’ can either be the 1st or 2nd most important aspects of a boat. For avid anglers, they may focus most on the fishing features. Boaters that simply love being out on the water and view fishing as an element of boating may be more inclined to focus on the comfort amenities below. Parents/grandparents that enjoy bringing their kids/grandkids out on the boat may be more focused on the safety and convenience aspects.

Standard features included in the base model of the Pathfinder 2600 HPS include a compass, console windshield & grabrail, bow and stern cleats and full closed-foam flotation.

Other safety, comfort, and convenient features:

  • Aft Deck Seating w/ Backrest & Cushion
  • 3-Point Bow/ Stern Lifting Hardware
  • Pathfinder Trailer (Tandem Axle)
  • Trailer Aluminum Wheel Options (Each)
  • Trailer Spare Tire Option
  • Shipping Cover
  • None
  • Shrink wrap
  • Folding Spring Line Cleats (2)

Lights and Electric

Some fish are better caught at night or before the sun comes up. Having lights for navigation and assembling tackle can be extremely beneficial in these instances. If you like to go for sunset boat rides, having the proper battery power to power these lights can be important.

Luckily, Pathfinder has dressed even the most basic of models with fantastic lighting and battery power. Standard features include: 12-volt accessory Jack – Aft Center Livewell Light – Navigation LED’s on the console – nickel-tinned fused wiring harness – waterproof switch panel w/ circuit breaks – Main Breakers w/ independent house & TM battery switches.

Because the standard model comes with so many standard features, optional lights and electronics are limited on this model:

  • Battery 31 Series
  • Battery Charger (4-Bank)
  • Underwater Lights, Blue (set of 2)

The Versatile Bay Boat

Bay boats are a step up from flats boats, with a slightly deeper v-hull allowing for this boat’s versatility. The deeper v makes it possible to go offshore in these types of vessels. Bay boats are made for fishing; large bow and aft casting decks provide plenty of room for anglers to drop their lines. If properly outfitted, they could also pull the kids around for a little water sporting fun, but the primary focus of this Pathfinder 2600 HPS is to fish.

With the ability to still get into nearly 15 inches of water and go offshore, this powerful bay boat offers the opportunity of catching a variety of fish. While this boat is made with saltwater fishing in-mind, it is absolutely not limited to the sea. You can launch this boat in many freshwater lakes and rivers throughout Florida.

Inshore and offshore fishing are a must in Florida, and this powerful bay boat makes it possible with just 1 single vessel. Fish inshore waters for some Snook*, Permit, Redfish*, Sheepshead and maybe some Spotted Seatrout*; take the boat offshore to try your skills at Crevalle Jack, Blue Runners, Cobia, and Hogfish; or drop the 2600 in some freshwater to catch some Largemouth Bass, Freshwater Catfish, and Black Crappies.
