Capt. Jay Withers lives in Port Charlotte, Florida with his beautiful bride, Amy. After guiding for 11 years here in Southwest Florida as a U.S.C.G licensed captain, he has developed a solid reputation as a fishing guide. He operates his charter business out of a 2014 Pathfinder 2400 TRS powered by a 300 hp Yamaha outboard. Silver Lining Charters offers guided trips inshore / backcountry, near shore and offshore. With the flexibility to run to a near shore reef and in the same day come back inside to fish the flats, it’s tough to beat the list of possibilities.
Capt. Jay has developed a charter service with honesty, kindness and experience. While his dedication to Silver Lining Charters is full time, he still manages to educate the community through 20+ seminars a year on the sport of fishing. Additionally, in 2009 he founded and co–owns RedZone Apparel that makes Sun Protective technical fishing apparel.
