Sea Hunt boats are made of fiberglass and composite materials, with no structural wood. Sea Hunt builds its own engineered fiberglass stringer grid and uses an all-fiberglass transom made from Coosa composite panels, which resist rot far better than wood. The load-bearing parts of the deck are cored with composite materials for strength, and the compartments around the stringers are filled with closed-cell urethane foam for flotation and a quieter ride. This wood-free, foam-filled construction is a big reason Sea Hunt boats hold up so well in saltwater.
